Healthcare reform lowers the cost of checking for hidden diseases
and conditions, but make sure you really need these tests.
Men can now obtain preventive services without copays and deductibles under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Medicare and most private insurance plans must waive cost-sharing provisions for certain preventive screening tests to check for signs of hidden disease.
