Why do I bruise more easily as I age?

I seem to bruise more frequently as I get older. Even when I have not bumped into anything, I see bruises on my arms. What causes that, and should I be worried?As you age, your body's fat tissue naturally begins to thin, especially in the back of the arms. Blood vessels also lose some elasticity and are more prone to breaking. This often leads to large bruises on the backs of the arms or legs from the most innocent or even unnoticeable bumps.
