Does endometriosis increase cancer risk?

I have endometriosis, and I recently heard that it might increase my risk of certain cancers. Is this true?When it comes to a higher risk of other types of cancers, the research is still inconclusive. Some studies have found that women with endometriosis are more likely than women without the condition to develop breast cancer, melanoma, or endometrial cancer — but other studies haven't found the same link. And there is a bit of good news: women with endometriosis appear to have a lower-than-average risk of cervical cancer.
